Lifebanc chooses CCSI as the primary cloud, data center and VOIP Provider
CLEVELAND, Ohio, March 14th, 2019 – Cloud Compliance Solutions (CCSI), a leading provider of cloud-based enterprise services and compliance solutions, announced today that Lifebanc has chosen CCSI as its primary cloud, data center, compliance and voice provider. Lifebanc serves Northeast Ohio as a nonprofit organ, tissue, and eye recovery organization. Lifebanc is a leader in the field and is a highly respected recovery organization nationally and regionally.
“Lifebanc’s Mission of Saving and Healing Lives is a 24x7x365 operation. As a non-profit, we are tasked with implementing a robust and cost-effective IT infrastructure that allows our staff to take incoming potential donor referral information, chart and track those donors, and facilitate the process of managing the donation process from start to finish – without interruption. Our partnership with CCSI allows us to fulfill that Mission with a level of fault tolerance and redundancy that we’ve never had before, and we now enjoy that luxury at a lower cost. We are thrilled to have a partner who understands the critical nature of our business and our technology needs,” said Tom Krempa, Lifebanc’s Director of Information Technology for the past 16 years.
“Having Lifebanc as a customer is a very high honor. Lifebanc is a leader in organ and tissue recovery in Northeast Ohio as well as nationally. They work with many premiere healthcare providers including the Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals. We are very proud of the fact that Lifebanc trusts CCSI with their data and voice needs. “This is a testament to our commitment for business up-time, compliance and security to our clients,” stated Kelley Allen, CCSI’s CEO. “We provide end-to-end compliant technology platforms for clients in healthcare, finance, and insurance. We create a partnership with our clients and they trust us with their data and core business operations.”
Lifebanc is the Northeast Ohio non-profit organization working to save and heal lives through organ, eye and tissue donation for transplantation. The organization facilitates the donation process, educates the public with the facts about donation and provides grief support services to individuals whose family members have generously given the gift of life through organ, eye and tissue donation.
Despite the increase in organ, eye and tissue donors there remains a critical organ shortage in the United States. There are currently 113,735 people waiting for a life-saving organ transplant across the country. There are 1,765 people waiting in Northeast Ohio alone. In 2018, 345 people in Northeast Ohio either died waiting for an organ or became too sick to transplant.
The best chance those still waiting have at receiving the life-saving transplant they need is by increasing the number of people who register their wishes to be an organ, eye and tissue donor. In 2018, over 62,000 people in Northeast Ohio registered for the first time on the Ohio Donor Registry.
